Some or all of the officer portraits, story illustrations, backgrounds and treasure images were created with generative AI (an OpenAI image model) and then selected and edited.
Sound
Music and sound effects are synthesized live in the browser (Web Audio); no external recordings are used.
Historical sources
Officer statistics and events are derived from public-domain histories such as the Records of the Three Kingdoms (三國志), the Book of the Later Han (後漢書), the Samguk Sagi (三國史記) and the Samguk Yusa (三國遺事). Quotations are from the original texts; commentary was written for this game.
